Diamik is the key name in sustainable work surfaces, all manufactured from our base in Leeds, Yorkshire. The team at Diamik have worked with recycled glass over many years, striving to produce high end decorative surfaces that offer something entirely new to a vibrant market.
In the beginning we were the centre of many jokes, and we had to overcome many obstacles. AND WE DID.
Some glass types react differently, could we obtain enough glass, if we created a demand could we fulfil that demand. We learned many things along the way.
We were astounded at the number of containers entering the UK from around the globe, filled to the brim with mined products, quartz, granite and marble being the largest quantity. We had to change this massive importing of worksurfaces.
We soon settled on glass as being the ideal product. Glass can be crushed into many sizes to give different effects one of our most popular being a concrete design made from ground glass powder.
All our surfaces are bound together by either fusing or using bonding agents. Safety and Hygiene were two of our key concerns at the beginning, our research showed these were the things people raised when we discussed our new products.
Our field testing has yielded no issues what so ever.

Our surfaces are manufactured by crushing recycled glass bottles/jars/glasses destined for landfill. We then work our magic and produce two different products. Decorok which is 100% recycled glass fused together and Ecorok which is 85% recycled glass bonded together with added pigments. Our products are the only one’s, of this kind, to be manufactured on a commercial scale in the UK.
With a wide choice of finishes and options, this top of the range material makes a stunning surface and with the addition of LED lighting we can offer you a different coloured surface for every day of the week with just a flick of the finger.

Diamik recycled glass products are manufactured using a balance of hands on labour and the latest digital CNC machines giving an industry leading level of finish and quality. The material is compatible with modern and traditional features, offering profiled edges, drainer grooves, undermount sinks and flush fitting appliances.
We use the latest digital templating technology to make millimetre accurate measured drawings of customer requirements which are converted directly into machine language to cut and shape the the materials perfectly. We can even video the manufacturing process as a keep sake for our customers.
Just to let you know that Tom from Treske came and fitted our splashback. It looks superb and we are delighted with it. It really sets off the kitchen beautifully and the four coasters look very attractive on the table. Thank you very much for your help in achieving the look we wanted for our kitchen. We are glad that we found you at the Home Building and Renovating Show. Everyone who visits us comments on the distinctive design and we would be happy to endorse your work to any prospective customers who would like to see it in situ. We are now ready to fully utilise the kitchen and splash as much fat as we feel the need for!

Oh how utterly beautiful and fantastic! I opened the parcel with a furrowed brow (as I didn't know what it may have contained), then my eyebrows shot off into the stratosphere as I saw and recognised and screeched with delight!
